For over a decade, my world was defined by the fast-paced life of a corporate graphic designer. While I loved the craft, I always found my true stillness at the end of a paintbrush. Painting has always been my therapy, but it took a major life milestone to turn that passion into a purpose. I created my first sign just to see if it was even going to work. I posted a video and it went viral.
I then started creating this collection. It was all born in the heart of my own "Bridal Era." What began as a way to find peace during the beautiful whirlwind of wedding planning quickly grew into a deep love for creating art for life's most joyful moments.
I am at my happiest when I am creating, and I believe there is nothing more rewarding than designing for the happiest day of your life. I’m truly honored to share my art and DIYs with you to help make your celebration perfect!
Absolutely! I love 'made from scratch' projects. If you have a specific pattern, floral motif, or color palette in mind, let's work together. My goal is to let light tell your story through custom hand-painted signage that feels personal, timeless, and uniquely yours. We begin by needing you to fill out our "design from scratch" form. This can be for any type of design not just for a wedding. I then review the request. I'll personally approve the order before you are charged, ensuring every detail is perfectly aligned with your dream piece.
Each sign is a true labor of love. Every piece is hand‑painted and can take 20+ hours to create. I also spend extra time designing and refining the templates I use. I am also offering signs at a much larger scale. My time/craftsmanship, along with all the supplies needed to make your piece and the packaging materials that help it arrive safely to you, is carefully considered in the pricing.
My designs always start with a rough sketch using procreate. I then use AI to finalize and clean up the line work of the design. I normally would not use AI at all but it helps streamline my process so that my design fee can be lower and I can spend more time painting. Lastly, I bring that into Adobe illustrator to do any pattern making and add typography.
Due to the handmade nature of the Work, certain variations in appearance, such as color shifts, pattern differences, line work, and the presence of minor air bubbles, are expected and unavoidable. These attributes are inherent to the glass-painting process. While I maintain high-quality standards, these unique characteristics are part of the artistic integrity of the piece and are not characterized as flaws or defects.
To really let the colors sing, these signs are meant to interact with light. We recommend displaying your piece in front of a window or against a clean, white wall so the transparency and depth of the paint can shine. The typography won’t be legible with a busy or dark background behind it. If you prefer, we can also add a solid color behind the type, but this will move the piece away from the classic stained glass look.
I recommend using a white or clear easel to showcase your stained glass pieces. Because they’re semi‑transparent, white or clear stands help the colors show best. You can find some good options here: https://amzn.to/3O32Fer
I currently only hand-paint the designs I create. I will created digital downloads if there is a high volume of people who want them (for personal use only).
